Overview
Slide share is open source software designed for the sharing of presentaions (power point) across multiple platforms (like Mac or older/newer Power Point programs). Slide Share generally embeds well into wiki and is simply another route to get your presentation notes to your students.

Use in Your Classroom
TIPS

• I found it easier to save presentation as a *.pdf before uploading.
• I have had some problems getting the slides to appear - it may be a browser issue
• Once completed, you can chose for the presentation to be embeddable through the "edit" feature

Set up account – not required, but give it a shot if you can

• Go to www.slideshare.net and create an account
• Upload one of your existing Power Point presentations
• Embed presentation in our wiki under the Institute Assignments page
